Born in Berkeley, CA and raised in Marin and Santa Cruz counties, musician Ken Constable has been part of the Santa Cruz music scene since the late eighties. He has played guitar in the largest and most legendary clubs on the West Coast, including Whiskey–A–Go Go, Slims, Bimbos 365 Club and the Catalyst with bands such as the internationally successful group "The Inciters" with whom he completed a five country European tour in April 2010, and has been guitarist/manager for popular club bands including, "Hang Time" and "Brujo."
Classically trained and jazz influenced, Ken has recently embarked on a solo career, and is receiving a tremendous response from critics and the public. He may be the busiest soloist in the area, performing over ninety shows in 2003 alone and over 130 shows in 2009. Spanish, Brazilian, classical, and popular music are all part of his silky repertoire, as he enlightens listeners with his amazing technical prowess and soulful interpretations.
